Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Dr. Naledi Pandor will on May 10, 2023 give the Budget Vote Speech, outlining South Africa’s foreign policy priorities for the fiscal year 2023–2024.
The speech is expected to highlight achievements from the previous financial year. Participating in the debate on the Budget Vote includes the Deputy Minister Candith Mashego-Dlamini and Deputy Minister Alvin Botes.
Prior to the speech, the Minister Pandor will today May 9, 2023 participate in a round-table discussion organized by the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) to discuss the current Geo-political environment and South Africa’s role.
The event, which will take place at the Kelvin Grove Club in Newlands, Cape Town, will have participants such as the SAIIA CEO Elizabeth Sidiropoulos, Prof. Siphamandla Zondi, Dr. Chris Lansberg (University of Johannesburg), and Dr. Philani Mthembu (Institute for Global Dialogue) as participants.
