Principal Secretary for the State Department for Livestock, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Irrigation, Harry Kimtai has joined Carbinet Secretary for Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, Mithika Linturi during the opening of the Kenya Meat Expo 2023.
The Expo’s under the theme “Promoting resilience in the meat industry through investments & innovation for job creation & economic growth”, aims to showcase various products in agric’.
The 3-day event has attracted both local and international exhibitors and will provide a platform for networking among the various stakeholders.
In an effort to expand the knowledge and technological advancement in the livestock sector, the government has decided to make the Kenya Meat Expo an annual event.
