Kenyan President William Ruto a Gazette notice dated April 19, 2023, has made several new State appointments.
Former presidential candidate David Mwaure Waihiga has been appointed the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the National Environment Trust Fund.
The Head of State has also appointed Richard Cheruiyot as the chairperson of the Export Processing Zone Authority (EPZA) effective April 20, for three years.
Samuel Ragwa has been appointed the chairperson of the Board of Directors of the National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB).
Other key parastatal appointments include: Adrian Kamotho Njenga as the Chairperson of the Capital Markets Tribunal, Adelina Mwau appointed the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Kimathi Mbogori as chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Veterinary Vaccines Production Institute. They will also serve for three years.
Godfrey Lemiso is the new chairperson of the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation, while Charles Ongoto has been named the chairperson of the Retirement Benefits Appeals Tribunal.
