The Principal Secretary (PS) of the State Department for Diaspora Affairs under the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Roseline K. Njogu on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 graced the Kenya diaspora event in Brussels.
In attendance were PS Susan Mangeni – State Department for MSMEs Development, Kenya Permanent Mission to the United Nations, Geneva, Amb. Lucy kiruthu, Amb. (Prof) Bitange Ndemo among others.
The meeting focused on promoting a mutually reinforcing engagement with the diaspora through dialogue, advocating for their welfare, and promoting investment opportunities.
The meeting also seeks to develop strategies for streamlining investment processes and creating more opportunities for Kenyans living abroad to invest in their homeland were also discussed.
The event also explored ways of developing a culture of innovating and incubating business for Kenyan diaspora, facilitating skills transfer, and supporting capacity development for entrepreneurship.
