The Ministry of Interior and National Administration in collaboration with the
State Department for petroleum has launch a nationwide Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and Petroleum business registration exercise.
The exercise is therefore scheduled to Tuesday, April 3, 2023 to April 14, 2023.
“The registration will be in all sub-countries by National Government Administration Officer’s (NGAOs) in collaboration with the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA),” the Authority stated in a release on Wednesday.
According to the Authority, the move is aimed at enhancing the management and regulation of LPG and Petroluem business in the country.
“The exercise will help to ensure that all LPG and Petroluem are compliant with safety regulations, thereby minimizing the risk of accidents and protecting the public.”
