The Egyptian Electricity Holding Company launched a new application to help blind subscribers of people of determination obtain the ministry’s services electronically.
The application called “Electricity Services for the Blind” is free. It provides audio services and assists the blind in choosing the service they need.
The following are the services provided by the “Electricity Services for the Blind” application:
1- Submit a request to install a legal electricity meter for the first time.
2- Submit a request to install a code counter for customer service and technical support.
3- Obtain a consumption data certificate.
4- Record the electricity meter reading.
5- Pay electricity bills.
6- Obtain a “reconciliation” contract data certificate.
7- Submit a request to install an electricity meter instead of a damaged one.
8- Submit a request to install an electricity meter instead of a lost one.
9- Change the meter owner’s name.
10- Submit a meter check request.
11- Submit a request to raise the meter.
12- Submit a request to replace the meter with a larger capacity.
13- Submit a request to schedule the indebtedness in monthly instalments.
14- Submit a request to connect the electric current to residential buildings.
15- Submit a request to modify a connection or connect a temporary current.
16- Submit a request to connect the electric current to the investment facilities.
17- Submit a complaint.
