In a statement following the event, CapeWine 2022, the largest wine trade event in South Africa, got under way at the Cape Town Convention Centre scheduled to hold this week. The theme this year is “Sustainability 360”.
Speaking in her keynote address, the Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development Minister Thoko Didiza said her department was aware of the challenges wine producers faced daily and the government was working on addressing the issues.
She further reiterates; “This year, visitors can expect to taste wines from over 400 South African producers.
