The Minister of National Education of Algeria. Mr Abdelhakim Belabed has confirmed the availability of English Language textbooks for third years of primary education.
This comes after the National Institute for Research in Education approved the book on September 1st.
This came during a national symposium chaired by Minister Belabed, on Saturday morning, by lecturing remotely, with frameworks from the central administration, education directors, and general secretaries.
The National Office of School Publications will start the process of printing English books for primary students, to be available in all educational institutions before students enter schools, the minister added.
Belabed ordered the directors of education to set up a special body tasked with following up the process of distributing the book to educational institutions, starting on Sunday, September 4th.
