Regis Rugemanshuro, has emerged Africa Public Sector Magazine’s “CEO Of the Week” for the beginning of the month August 7th – 13th, 2022 rankings.
He is a digital transformational, a tech enthusiast and a vibrant leader, leading the affairs of the social security board of Rwanda, on security affairs, health and pension and other social security affairs in the country.
The hardworking, innovative CEO is in power of overseeing the visible growth of the security system on entirety; the needs and value of Rwandan. He has become our face of the week, the highly rated CEO of the week is a weekly accreditation of Top performing CEO ‘s of public institutions, MDA’s of African governments, following their achievements and portfolios amongst other criteria for the best in performances and developments.
The hardworking and the energy solving man, Regis Rugemanshuro was formerly the Director General Rwanda Social Security Board but was recently promoted to the position of the Chief Executive officer as disclosed by the company to the public, following his experience and expertise. Prior his appointment he was the Chief Digital Officer of Bank of Kigali PLC where he oversaw and led the Digital Transformation of Bank of Kigali Plc; a position he took after serving as the first Chief Executive Officer of BK TecHouse, the Tech subsidiary of Bank of Kigali Group Plc, where his work and the company’s achievements in the two years he spent there earned him the 2018 All Africa Business Leaders Award (AABLA) as Finalist for East Africa Innovator of the Year.
His area of focus is at the intersection of Business and Technology; his expertise is in transforming large organizations to realize the promise of the digital revolution via adoption of business best practices and standards fit for the digital era, together with modern engineering platforms.
Remarkably, under his leadership, BK TecHouse was voted and awarded the 2017 Best Technology Company in Rwanda by the Smart Service Awards.
He before joining started off and spent his career in the United States consulting for the global Tech giants such as Hewlett Packard (HP) as a Program Manager and later with Accenture PLC in Seattle, Washington. During his time there, his main clients included Microsoft and T-Mobile.
Additionally, Mr Regis is a professional and a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Global Project Management Institute (PMI) as well as a Certified SAFE Program Consultant (SPC4) by the Global Scaled Agile Academy, all to his name.
