Zambia’s Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry, Hon. Chipoka Mulenga has been declared as Africa Public Sector magazine’s “Minister of the Week”.
The highly-rated APS Minister of the Week is a weekly review of the performances of the African government’s ministers. It’s made of high scrutiny and data analysis of the ministers.
Born in 1981, the minister is rated as one of the best ministers in Zambia owing to his developmental policies and initiatives which have contributed massively to the growth of the country’s trade and commerce.
The minister who has a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurship and
Diploma in surveying has been able to formulate policies that has create multiple jobs.
He recently represented his country’s Vice President to launch the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Zambia (CCCZ), to enhance interaction between the Zambian and Chinese business communities.
His Ministry also launched the first-ever EU – Zambia Economic Forum 2022 in Lusaka under the theme ‘Economic Transformation through Green Growth to promote economic activities.
The minister’s policies have brought together a wide range of entrepreneurs, experts, financial institutions, innovators and policy decision-makers from Zambia and other top countries from across the world.
His goal is to generate private sector investments and business opportunities that foster economic growth and create jobs through exploring sustainable products and services within the green economy.
