The Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) has launched an initiative dubbed ‘the Adinkra International Arts and Crafts Show Ghana’.
This show serves as GEPA’s very first International Arts and Crafts Show in Ghana, serving as an opportunity to attract other exporters to Ghana.
“As an organization that has long supported exporters in attending international trade fairs, we are excited to now bring the world to Ghana’s doorstep,” GEPA wrote.
During the ceremonial launch of the show, the CEO of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority, Osafohene Dr. Afua Asabea Asare I, highlighted the boundless creative spirit and rich history being celebrated.
She indicated that the show stands as a pivotal beacon of hope and unity for the African continent, carrying on a legacy that all Ghanaians can take pride in.
She emphasized the importance of the show in promoting unity among stakeholders and showcasing significant economic potential. Dr. Asare expressed her optimism for the show’s success and its role in promoting Ghana’s cultural heritage on the international stage.
Also gracing the launch was Mr. Samuel Dentu, the Deputy CEO in charge of Operations and Finance at the Ghana Export Promotion Authority.
In his address, he provided an overview of the event and highlighted the unique opportunities it offers for Ghana, exhibitors, and attendees.
