The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has begun a rigorous enforcement campaign to uphold the ban on the production and sale of alcoholic beverages packaged in sachets and small-volume containers of 200ml and below.
In an official release, the company explained that the ban follows recommendations from various stakeholders aimed at safeguarding vulnerable demographics, such as children and drivers, from the detrimental effects of alcohol consumption.

Starting February 1, 2024, nationwide enforcement actions have been initiated, targeting both producers and distributors found in violation of the ban.”
