Throughout the exercise, several activities were carried out with a strong focus on operational safety and employee wellbeing. One of the key highlights was Foreign Object Debris (FOD) walks conducted across airside areas, aimed at reinforcing the shared responsibility of maintaining safe airport environments.

In line with this year’s theme, significant attention was also placed on psychosocial wellbeing in the workplace. Safety and medical teams led fatigue management and mental wellness sessions, highlighting the critical link between staff wellbeing and aviation safety.
Port Health officials also conducted wellness checks and facilitated health awareness sessions, encouraging airport personnel to prioritize their health and seek timely support when needed.
The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining a strong safety culture across all Kenyan airports through continuous collaboration, training, and stakeholder engagement.
