The Minister for Communications and Digitalisation, Hon. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has officially launched the Ghana Digital Economy Policy and Strategy.
The launch took place on Friday, November 29, 2024 during the Minister’s Press Briefing, organised by the Ministry of Information.
The policy aims to leverage digital technologies to foster economic growth, improve public services, and ensure equitable access to digital resources.
She added that the policy would also address five broad areas; universal access to broadband connectivity, advancements in eGovernment services such as the Ghana.gov portal, and strategic investments in digital skills, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies.
The briefing was moderated by the Deputy Minister for Information, Hon. Sylvester Tetteh.
