The Delta State government has embarked on implementing the new minimum wage, as announced by the State Commissioner for Information, Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, on Wednesday.
This announcement followed the State Executive Council (EXCO) meeting.
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has tasked the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Kingsley Emu, and the Commissioner for Finance, Chief Fidelis Tilije, to engage with the State Council of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) regarding the implementation of the new wage.
