President Bola Tinubu has called on civil servants across Nigeria to follow the example set by the outgoing Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folashade Yemi-Esan.
Speaking at the State House, Abuja, during the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed Head of the Civil Service, Tinubu highlighted the remarkable contributions made by Yemi-Esan throughout her tenure.
A statement from his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, detailed the President’s commendation of her service.
President Tinubu lauded Dr. Yemi-Esan for her unwavering commitment, loyalty, and vision that steered the civil service through transformations and reforms.
He noted that under her leadership, the civil service witnessed enhanced efficiency, transparency, and professionalism.
“We must learn from her commitment to duty, loyalty, and great vision.
She served our nation exceptionally well with dedication, guiding the civil service through significant transformation and reforms,” the President remarked.
He emphasized that her contributions have set a high standard for public administration in Nigeria.
As Dr. Yemi-Esan steps down from her role, President Tinubu expressed deep gratitude for her service, acknowledging the lasting impact she has made.
He urged the incoming Head of the Civil Service to uphold the principles of integrity and transparency that Yemi-Esan exemplified.
“As she steps down, we express our deep gratitude for her unwavering commitment and the significant impact she has made in our country. We thank you very much,” Tinubu said, adding a charge to the new Head of Service to continue in the path of excellence established by her predecessor.
