President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has inaugurated a 320-bedroom apartment complex for Ghana Police Service personnel in Tesano, Accra.
During the inauguration, President Akufo-Addo emphasized the government’s housing policy meeting issues aboard men and women in uniform will be executed in its entirety.
This development forms part of the general government effort to resolving the housing shortage faced by the nation’s security agencies.
“This milestone is not just a testament to our determination to improve the living standards of our security personnel, but also a key step forward in our national quest for enhanced security and safety,” stated Akufo-Addo.
He added that the facility shows “our resolve to ensure that those who risk their lives daily to protect us have a safe and comfortable place to call home.”
President Akufo-Addo highlighted the importance of providing further assistance to the Ghana Police Service, highlighting the government’s ongoing commitment to supporting the country’s security forces.
