The Hon. Minister for Finance, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam (MP) has engaged key stakeholders to among other things discuss solutions to generate a more favorable business climate and improve the ease of doing business in Ghana.
In attendance were the Minister of State, Hon. Abena Osei-Asare (MP), Minister for Information, Fatimatu Abubakar, Trade Minister, Hon. K.T. Hammond, Development Partners, Commissioner General and Commissioners of the Ghana Revenue Authority – Official.
Prior to this meeting, the Hon Minister for Finance highlighted the implementation of the IMF-Supported Post Covid-19 Programme for Economic Growth (PC-PEG), the progress made towards completion of the external debt restructuring programme, and the status of implementation of the SME Growth and Opportunity Programme.
He took the opportunity to also provide an update on the performance of the economy for the first quarter of 2024.
