The Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) has received a courtesy visit from the organisers of the Intra Africa Coffee and Chocolate Trade Week.
The visit on 21st May, 2024 was led by Linda Fernando, from the organising committee, and Eugenia Ingabire, Industrial Policy Officer for the AfCFTA.
The meeting focused on discussions on the current progress of the event and reaffirm the objectives of promoting the African coffee and cocoa industries.
“GEPA has been instrumental in advancing Ghana’s cocoa sector by supporting value-added cocoa products and facilitating market access for cocoa exporters.
We anticipate that this event will further enhance market opportunities and foster greater collaboration within the African coffee and cocoa industries.
We are proud to be a key partner in this significant event, which will take place from 12-14 September 2024 at the Grand Hotel Djibloho in Equatorial Guinea,” GEPA wrote.
The agency pledged a continues collaboration to ensure the success of the Intra Africa Coffee and Chocolate Trade Week.
