The Director-General of National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye has joined a meeting to empower SMEs for growth.
The meeting held in Aba, themed “Empowering SMEs for Growth and Compliance” was organised by the Abia State government through the Ministry of Digital Economy and SMEs.
In her address, Prof. Adeyeye underscored the central role SMEs play in driving economic development and providing employment opportunities for Nigerians across the country.
The Director-General supported 25 SMEs in attendance with free NAFDAC registration.
His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR ably represented by the Deputy Governor of Abia State, Mr. Ikechukwu Emetu, announced the approval of a proposed location for NAFDAC office complex and laboratory at Umuoba Road by 7up, off Ogbor Hill, Aba.
He also revealed free CAC registration for 150 businesses present at the stakeholders meeting.
