Earlier today, Cabinet Secretary for Health, Nakhumicha S. Wafula, met with the British High Commission team in Kenya, led by Neil Wigan, UK High Commissioner to the Republic of Kenya.
This meeting marks a significant milestone in the continued collaboration between the Ministry of Health, Kenya, and the British High Commission team.
The partnership has been instrumental in supporting the preventive and promotive aspects of health, with a primary focus on nutrition and the existing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) regarding family planning commodities.
Cabinet Secretary Wafula expressed appreciation for the commitment of the British High Commission to providing adequate preparation for nurses, thereby enhancing their prospects of securing employment opportunities in the United Kingdom.
