Nigeria’s National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has formed a collaboration with the US Consulate to Global Tech Africa event.
Organized by the Future Map Foundation and Ascend Studios Foundation, this tech summit aims to unite tech stakeholders from Africa and around the world, fostering growth opportunities and strengthening the tech landscape in Africa.
The event, scheduled to take place in Lagos on July 25, has garnered support from various partners such as Business Sweden, Venture Garden Group, RivExcel Health, and more.
The GTA Conference, scheduled to occur in Lagos from November 17 to 20, is expected to bring immense opportunities to Africa and Nigeria as a whole. The Director General of NITDA, Inuwa Kashifu Abdullahi, highlighted Nigeria’s crucial role in propelling the growth of the African tech ecosystem.
He expressed that Nigeria’s impressive technological capabilities act as a beacon of innovation, guiding Africa towards a prosperous digital future and driving economic growth through job creation. With a young and tech-savvy population, along with favorable legislation and policies, Nigeria is well-positioned to establish itself as the leading digital technology hub in Africa.
