The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) announced the development of the Draft Energy (Integrated National Energy Plan) Regulations 2023, in accordance with the provisions of the Energy Act, 2019.
The regulations aim to establish a framework for monitoring the implementation of the Integrated National Energy Plan.
To ensure transparency and public participation, EPRA has released the associated Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) for public review and comment.
Stakeholders and members of the public are encouraged to provide their feedback on the draft regulations and the RIA report.
Interested parties can access the documents and the prescribed public comments form on the EPRA website at shorturl.at/cgxAY.
The Energy Regulatory Authority has invited submissions of comments until 21st July 2023.
