Director General of the Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of Kenya, Amb. George Orina, and the Director General of International Conferences, Media Events and Public Communications, Amb. Isaiya Kabira, has held a meeting with Kuwait Special Envoy Amb. Bader S. Al Tunaib and Amb. Quasai R. Al-Farhan.
The purpose of the meeting was to explore avenues for closer cooperation and discuss ways to deepen bilateral relations.

As part of their efforts, special messages were exchanged between the officials and their respective Foreign Ministers, setting the stage for an upcoming Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) meeting.
The JCC will focus on expanding trade and investments between the two nations and establishing a labor agreement that will create more opportunities for Kenyans in Kuwait.
