Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Climate Change and forestry, Soipan Tuya has today May 24, 2023 met visiting UNFCCC team led by Manager, Programme Coordination, Nicklas Svenningsen.
The team are in Kenya preparing for this year’s Africa Climate Week (ACW), that will be held alongside Africa Climate Summit.
ACW 2023 which will be held on September 4th-8th, 2023 in Nairobi, is one of four Regional Climate Weeks that will be held to build momentum ahead of COP28 in Dubai.

The Cabinet Secretary was accompanied by Environment and Climate Change PS Eng Festus Ng’eno and Kenya’s Climate Change Envoy Mr Ali Mohamed.
