Forestry Principal Secretary (PS) Ephantus Kimotho is set to preside over the launch of a partnership between the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forestry, and the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.
The partnership aims to grow 10 million seedlings as part of the national target to plant 15 billion trees within the next 10 years.
The launch event, which will take place at the PCEA Church headquarters in Nairobi, is expected to bring together government officials, church leaders, environmental activists, and other stakeholders.
